Exit is an installation piece born out of the group exhibition “15cm - 3,6m”. The piece showcases a myriad of suppressed thoughts and emotions that have come up for air in the locked hallways of a soviet tower block complex in Lasnamäe. Messages on the walls act as an antithesis to an abstract and infinite virtual space where most of today’s communication takes place. On the other hand, the writings on the wall reflect the social and personal mindscape of the youth during the turn of the century.

In the coming years, the foremen of the housing complex have agreed on gradually repainting the walls, thereby erasing a historic fragment of the millennial youth. The hidden corridor performs almost as an archive or ancient cave painting full of 90's cliches.
